KITH CAFE - COFFEE, BREAKFAST AND FRIES

If you are into Singapore's coffee scene, you would have probably heard of Kith Cafe. Opening it's doors to the public with it's very first outlet in Robinson Quay back in 2009, Kith Cafe have now expanded to many locations islandwide. Kith Cafe is known for their coffee as well as their breakfast menu items. Signature includes items such as their Kith Breakfast, Poached Eggs and Avocado as well as their most popular pasta, Granchio.

We went to the Winsland House outlet which is located just a short 10 minute walk away from Somerset MRT. We got their Chicken Wrap ($15) which is one of my personal favourites and also their Pulled Pork and Eggs ($20). We weren't feeling like we needed caffeine on that particular afternoon hence we did not get any coffee but we have had their coffee before in the past and we know for a fact that their coffee apart from being stronger than others (their standard is 2 shots for hot coffee and 4 shots for iced coffee), it is also more acidic and thus produces a more sourish taste as compared to regular coffee beans.

The Chicken Wrap is filled with generous portions of chicken along with japanese cucumber, tomato relish, yogurt mayo and sweet thai sauce

The Chicken Wrap comes with a huge generous serving of chicken chunks that will bound to fill you up. The chicken chunks were tender and juicy and the dressing used in the wrap was also quite delicious. The Pulled Pork and Eggs is served with two Sunny side up on top of a bed of pulled pork and apple slaw rested on a pita bread. The Pulled pork was full of flavour and proved to be a wonderful combination when you eat it together with the runny eggs and the pita bread.

Look at that perfectly runny egg

Kith Cafe's Truffle Fries ($12) is served with a side of mayonnaise and topped with cheese and parsley

We also got a side of truffle fries because why not right? No meal is complete without truffle fries. The portion of the fries was huge but when it came to the taste of the fries, we found the truffle taste to be quite underwhelming. I would say the fries loses if you compare it to other cafes truffle fries such as PS Cafe's but is still overall worth it for the value for money and the huge portion.

Kith's Signature Sea Salt cookie is only $1 for 1 and 3 for $2.80!

If you decide to visit Kith Cafe, you also have to try their signature sea salt cookie. I know the idea of a salty cookie might seem off putting to you but trust me, it is pretty darn tasty.

Overall I would say if you need a place to have lunch and catch up with your friends or you are in the vicinity and need some midday caffeine to wake you up, give Kith Cafe a shot!

P.S they are kind of hard to miss with their bright yellow and black sign

Expected damage - $15 - $30
